100 THINGS TO SEE IN THE KIMBERLEY: 2ND EDITION

100 Things to See in the Kimberley is the culmination of a life spent exploring the Kimberley. Written by Scotty Connell, Kununurra local and award-winning tour guide, the 180-page ‘bucketlist’ book takes readers to some of Scotty’s favourite places across the north west of Australia, from stunning, fern-lined pools, to incredible waterfalls and through wonders found nowhere else on Earth. Now in its updated, second edition!

Watermelon Honey

Broome Watermelon Honey, a delicious twist on traditional honey with hints of tropical fruit. Savor the pure taste of nature with Walaja Broome Bush Honey, a culinary delight that transports you to the heart of Western Australia's Kimberley region.

Melaleuca Honey

A mildly sweet honey beautiful on a fresh slice of crusty bread with a thick spread of butter.  The lazy sunny Sunday afternoon snack.

Grevillea Honey

This is the sweety of the honeys that we offer.  This mono floral honey is lightly flavoured with a strong sweetness.  Ideal for mixing in tea, or perhaps a whiskey for a night cap or medicinal purposes.

Bloodwood Honey

This is our special Habitat Resort honey.  The bees get their honey from many of the bloodwood eucalypts surrounding the garden resort, giving it a strong, not too sweet, flavour.  This multi-floral honey is uniquely infused with many of the plants from the Habitat Resort gardens, providing a tantalising honey that dances across your tongue.  Think porridge on a cold morning, or, a nice hot crumpet with the honey drizzling all through it.

The setting in the lush tropical garden is fantastic. The pool is amazing. Must have transport but handy to Enterance Point, Gantheame Point and 8 mins to town centre. Have stayed 3years in a row and always relaxing and quiet. A pleasure to stay.

Habitat Resort Broome reviews and testimonials

Very private, great for families and the pools and gardens were beautiful. The bungalows are spacious and you wouldn’t even know that there were other guests there because of how quiet it is. Owners are lovely and we will definitely be staying here from now on when we visit Broome.

Habitat Resort Broome reviews and testimonials

Great place to unwind. Just a little bit out of town, so very quiet, but close to the Golf Club for meals (and there's a shortcut to walk there). The hosts were extremely accommodating and helped to get me onto the WiFi network to pay some bills when my computer wasn't working properly. Will definitely be back.
