Habitat Resort Broome Policies
The Policies section on our website is designed to provide guests with comprehensive guidance on important matters to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay at Habitat Resort Broome. These policies are designed to provide transparency and guidance when booking and staying with us.
Due to rising crime levels in Broome, several crime prevention measures have been introduced, including the installation of a CCTV camera at the front entrance portico. Our purpose is to ensure CCTV use complies with privacy and legal requirements.
Guidelines:
- CCTV cameras are installed in open public areas (not in units).
- Signage at the resort entrance informs guests of CCTV operations.
- Recordings focus on public safety, security, and crime prevention.
- Access to recordings is limited to authorized staff and provided to police for reported crimes.
For detailed guidelines, please refer to the full CCTV Policy Document.

- Secure storage of recordings.
