More than just a competition, the event is about teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and a passion for the sport. Each year, anglers contribute to valuable research by tagging and releasing marlin, helping to grow understanding of this important fishery. With three full days of fishing, great prizes, and a strong community spirit, the Broome Marlin Cup is a must for serious anglers and fishing enthusiasts alike.

📊 Last year’s results: 65 raised – 33 hooked – 13 tagged. Can we top it this year?

19th - 21st September

This September, Broome will come alive with three nights of high-energy music as UNTAMED UNCUT takes over the legendary Roebuck Bay Hotel. Originally planned as the full-scale UNTAMED Festival, the event has been reimagined for 2025 while the larger festival is rescheduled for 2026.

Instead of going quiet, organizers are delivering a powerhouse weekend of live performances featuring Spiderbait, Ash Grunwald, Pierce Brothers, Abbe May, Legs Electric, Jaime Jacket Reinvented, Havana Brown, and Tigerlily.

Set to be one of the biggest live music events in Broome’s history—and the Roey’s 130-year legacy—UNTAMED UNCUT promises the same pulse, spirit, and energy of the larger festival in an intimate, unfiltered setting.

Whether you’re a local or flying in for the weekend, it’s your chance to be part of Broome’s music history and get a preview of what’s to come in 2026 when the full UNTAMED Festival returns bigger than ever.
