Staircase to the Moon (5th-7th June):
Broome’s premier natural event, known as the “Staircase to the Moon” runs from April to October each year. It is an unforgettable experience for visitors to Broome. Occurring when the full moon rises over the exposed mudflats during extremely low tide, it creates an optical illusion resembling a staircase leading to the moon.
